We get so used to seeing pictures only on the screen, that it's a real pleasure to see our pictures printed large as they were intended to be seen!
Recently we have produced coffee table books for corporate clients and personal projects, and found the whole experience very rewarding. It's a task I would recommend other photographers undertake just to undergo the processes of choosing / editing, laying out the page designs and the anticipation of getting the first copy back.

In July 2013 my family and I undertook a trip to Poland, Latvia and Kaliningrad (previously konigsberg) to trace the places where our ancestors had lived until the 1930’s. With numerous pogroms taking place in the first half of the twentieth century, some had already made the journey to Britain before the rise of the Nazis.
All our family members who remained in mainland Europe had perished either in massacres in Riga or were rounded up and transported away from their homes in Poland to the Warsaw...
I recently bought the Fujifilm X100S as a take anywhere camera for when I don't want to be weighed down by my kit. I have to say it's a joy to use and compared to the gear I normally use weighs almost nothing.
